What is a Portrait Party?

Let us bring the photography studio to you! All you have to do is bring your child(ren) and their smiles.  We meet at one specific location and I will take professional portraits of your children in a short time session.  Children are more comfortable when they aren’t in a studio setting for an hour.  We do not use studio backgrounds, because we want to bring out the outdoor beauty in your photos!  These sessions are for your children/teens only - no family portraits, please. All photos will be available via an online gallery within one week.

Portrait Parties are FUN! Fun for High School Seniors, Teens, Pre-teens, Children, Toddlers and Babies (sitting up or older).

** If you would like to use your own landscape/yard, please ask for more information.  Because every yard is different, some restrictions may apply.

How Does it Work?

You become a hostess for the party.  You invite family and friends with children to a specified location.  Guests arrive every 10-15 minutes for their session.  Our experienced photographer will photograph each child (or sibling groups) in several poses during their session.

Party Details:

  • There is a minimum of four (4) children per date.
  • To help make your party more relaxing, we ask that you invite no more than 12 children per date. If there are more than 12 children to be photographed, we ask that you schedule more than one date; however, there is no limit on the total number of dates.
  • Ask your guests which date and time will work for them.  You will maintain the schedule and contact information of your guests.
  • Ask your guests to arrive a few minutes before their scheduled time slot.
  • Each child (or sibling group) will be photographed during their time slot, and then they are free to leave.  There is no pressure and no sales pitch for parents to listen to.
  • Proofs will be available online within 1 week.
  • As a hostess, you will receive an email with a link to view the proofs.  You will then forward that email to each parent.
  • Parents may order via the online PhotoCart. (Photos will only be available online for 2 weeks).
  • For being such a great hostess, you will receive 10% of the sales from your guests purchases toward your own photos and one 11 x 14 with the pose of your choice.
